Apart from providing data analytics services to the market, New Era Analytics also produces a few interactive data applications. The main one is the ETFtracker app which sits on the ETFtracker site.
It needed a major overhaul as the dashboard was getting, quite frankly, stale. It no longer was providing an insightful overview or snapshot and required users to make multiple clicks to see what was going on. Often they would jump to other sections to get what they needed to see.
As such, we explored multiple ways to enhance this and came to the conclusion that a mix of trendlines along with heatmaps was the best way to go.
